Gross Motor Activities

Gross motor skills are physical skills that involve the large muscles of the body to perform an action, like walking and jumping.

Interactive gross motor activities: animal walks

Animal walks helps improve gross motor skills, such as body strength and bilateral coordination. The activities involves the child pretending to be an animal and participate in large body movements.

Stretches and yoga helps improve strength, balance, endurance, as well as provide sensory input. The activities promotes mindfulness and self-regulation.
